...ordered by Herod when? the 'jesus' character was about 2 years old? Why do 'christians' cling fervently to Flavius Josephus and a couple of lines (that are probably later forgeries) in his annals of the Jews, and yet Josephus NEVER writes one word about a nation-wide massacre of the first born of the Jews. That would have had the Jews frothing at the mouth for centuries (and deservedly so), but there is no mention of this massacre anywhere except in the gospels. Hmmmmm... Fictioneers at work again?
