Why is there no baseball player that can pitch & play in the everyday lineup?

You know like in little league when the starting pitcher is off he plays centerfield or shortstop & is in the everyday lineup?
Is the MLB so talentless that there is not even one guy that can do that?
Kinda like Babe Ruth as he is the only one in mlb history to do both...
