Why is there a gold barking boulder bomb in the Gusty Garden Galaxy?

I was playing the gusty garden galaxy the gravity one and there were those boulders with the red openings and then the last one I had to cross was a gold one with a mouth and eyes. Like the barking bomb things. Why is it gold and why does it make a shimmer noise?
