Hi i haven't been watching the news recently and i was wondering why is there a civil war in iran, when i tried to do my research it keeps sidetracking to another subject, so can someone explain to me quite simply, thanks in advance

Well, first off there is no civil war in iran, at all. There are protests, not a civil war. The protests are because the full of shit muslim government fixed the votes so that there presindent of choice (I am not going to bother to spell his name) the muslim extreemist who doesnt give any freedoms to any one won, even though the other candidate should have won. This caused an erruption of protests because the persians are sick and tired of having an oppresive government. At first the protests were about getting the other guy to win, but now all they want is a democratic nation. The protests are getting violent because the iranian government are sending the arab police in to hurt and even kill the protesters. The government there are worse then the nazis

there's no civil war in Iran, it's just a Political unrest there, because oppositions think they'd been cheated, so they demand new election...and those goverment officials don't like to conduct new election...so the protest begins, and the crackdown for media and protesters also begin...
