I feel sympathy for Elena Kagan. This fixation on her single status is offensive! A man can be a "bachelor", but a woman can't choose to be single; for whatever reason without being a homosexual! Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe Ms. Kagan does not want to marry or perhaps she has not found a worthy man? I am single by choice. I don't date; no need, since I am not contemplating marriage. I am heterosexual and happily celibate. The Left is so hypocritical. It talks about "choice" ad nauseum, but then denies people the choice to be single and happy.
