Why is the Nyko Wii Charging station not out yet?

yeah, like after two weeks of use, all the sound from my ps3 suddenly stopped, checked settings and no, disconnected the cable and the metal connections were all hot and stinking like burnt plastic. Went to a local radioshack, got a new hdmi cable, and have been using it with no problems
 
Is there another way to use the Wii Remotes without buying batteries every 2 weeks though?

EDIT: Do the Wii Remotes take AAs? If so, I guess I'll just buy this. It's cheaper anyway.

Yeah, Neweggs prices are pretty comparable, I've ordered form Thomas Distrib before and the service was pretty good. The nice thing about getting batteries from them is that they give you these plastic cases that you can put your batteries in which really helps w/ organizing them if you have multiple sets. If you can spring for Maha's new charger (the cool charger), it's supposed to charge the batteries up more but it's about double the price too, so..
 
Yes. Maha chargers are some of the best at nearly completely charging batteries. The one I linked is pretty good, the new cool charge one is even better though.
