Why is the media so cruel?

Does anybody see what they are doing to the Gosselin family? And Miley Cyrus. The media is so horrible.

Why can't they ever make magazines about good things like Jesus, and how to take care of our world and ourselves?

Why is it only about crap? Why do people like seeing those negative things?
 
Good things like Jesus...right. Whatever.
Anyway, it's because those negative things bring in ratings.
It either has to be about major news, horrible things/gossip, or the occasional inspirational kid with cancer sort of thing.
Other than that, it's not fit to print...says the media.
 
They make magazines about good things, too. You always have a choice in what you read. If you're looking for fluffy bunny happy stories about hollywood, though, you're out of luck. I am not familiar with jesus magazines, but I'm sure there are christian mags out there. There are a ton of environmental mags. If you're just wanting to read happy stories with good endings, forget mags and try a Chicken Soup for the Soul book. Warm fuzzies all over, I'm told.
