Why is the media saying that the Republicans are going to "attack" Sotomayor today?

If it were the Democrats the media would use words like "inquire" or "investigate." Just another example of how the media tries to influence simple minded people into thinking that the GOP is this evil government machine that will stop at nothing to destroy the world.
 
Because they are. They didn't want her nominated and they are going to try to get off the subject and come up with a wimpy excuse so that Sotomayor, may not take the position because she's Latina or "prejudice".
 
i agree. The media is so "fawning" towards the Democrats, they'd malign Republicans just for spite.

Judicial appointees have been "investigated' for previous administrations without all this "media hype". Just because Sotomayor will be "..the first Hispanic" is also false. Isnt Samuel Alito Hispanic?
