Why is the media making such a big fuss about Michael Jackson?

Just a short time ago, everyone was disgusted with him for being a freak and a pedophile. Now after he died suddenly everyone is all about wanting to honor him and remember him. Why are they trying to paint him as some honorable character? Sure he had some good songs.. a long time ago.. but why is everyone ignoring the freak/pedo side of Michael?
 
because he is honorable and a victim face of it all...pedo?the verdict was not guilty...i wonder if babe ruth got hack about being a alcoholic womanizer or Elvis who most likely slept with underage woman and who abused drugs...i didn't think so...so please let the Shakespeare of our time get his due...
 
You make it sound like he was always a freak/pedo. He was the creator of very good music that a lot of people grew up with and loved. He became a music icon and legend as the King of Pop and has been around in the music business for a very long time.

It's not that those same people that accused him of being a pedo are wanting to honor and remember him...it's that there are so many fans have been impacted so much that they're acting in a way that's making them noticeable. MJ had a LOT of fans...including me.
 
Not everyone was disgusted with him, obviously. He was not a freak and never proved a pedophile. He was a beautiful person inside and out. He able to perform his coming back concert or he would have knocked your socks off.
