Why is the media calling the White House, calling it now The Obama White House?

there were never a Clinton White House or Bush's White House..

whats the deal?
Billy I am not that young and No they didn't call it the Bush white house..

Either you are very, very young or you've just crawled out from under a rock: there certainly was a Clinton White House, a Bush White House - and an Eisenhower White House, a Nixon White House, a Kennedy White House, a Johnson White House, a Ford White House, a second Bush White House - Oh yeah, even a Truman White House and a Carter White House. Where have YOU been?
 
They want it to be separated as much as possible from the Bush administration. The truth is they should focus more on the issues rather than separation. The media so wants him to succeed that they often account for many of his failures, though they are rather small and few. I believe they are trying to signify a change in administration, and nothing more. After a year or so, that will all go away.
