Why is the media acting surprised that the Iranian election might have been rigged?

mahmoud ahmadinejad, has had his secret police harrass college students and women at the polls in the past. Why did the media think he would play fair this election.
wow totally irrelevant... it's funny this isn't even about Obama, yet someone has to make an anti obama statement....lol
 
Uh, why would one expect our media to have been paying any attention to Iran's internal stuff?

I'm just happy they usually pronounce it right.
 
Seriously. If the Republicans can rig 2000 and 2004 here in the good ole US of A, why should a third world dictator have a problem with it?
