This week and the past one has seen climate change step to the forefront of policy topics as world leaders have convened in Denmark to discuss Global Warming and the need to stop it. As we await a possible global mandate to curb carbon emissions, it is a better time than any to explain how this lie has been able to permeate the entire developed world.
Firstly, let's get this out of the way. Man-made Global Warming is a myth; the Earth is not warming due to civilization. It is a lie, an outright deception. All it has ever been about has been tearing down America and the redistribution of wealth. China is a worse polluter than us and France uses nuclear power to produce about 70 percent of their energy (a horrible alternative energy idea to all liberals) yet the United States is the one country that is yelled at for our carbon emissions. The climate change lobby attracts all spectrums of leftists because liberals, socialists, anarchists, communists all want the same thing. A weaker America. "American Exceptionalism" is a 4-letter word in their vocabulary, they are self-loathing people who hate that their own country is successful while they dream up all sorts of "injustices" in the world, and so they try and drag the U.S. down.
Now you may be asking, if man-made Global Warming is an idea concocted by the fringe of politics, why is it so widely believed. The simple answer is that the Global Warming crowd has put together the best history on the face of the Earth. They phrase the debate, making it impossible to disagree. Who doesn't want "clean air" or "clean water"? They phrase it so that the opposition is pro-pollution instead of what they are, which is pro-American. But to work a PR campaign you need spokesmen. In come politicians, academia, and the media. Always looking for the new thing to make themselves feel enlightened, they found the perfect storm in Global Warming, not only was it cutting edge progressivism, but supporting stopping it meant saving the planet. And anyone who has ever watched a superhero film agrees that that is pretty cool. So they joined the front. There could be no debate, it was decided, Global Warming must be true, and every time someone stepped into a classroom, turned on a T.V., or watched C-SPAN they would be convinced.
