Why is the Ford Fiesta 2010 everywhere except in the U.S.?

I've been reading that the new Ford Fiesta 2010 not only has been in European countries for months, but is also built in China for their domestic market... What does this mean to the U.S.?
Is Ford trying to accelerate the process of correcting the errors of this new version, so they'll be selling the 'perfect' version in the U.S.?
Or simple they are assuring themselves that every American home has bought a Toyota Yaris or a Honda Fit... so the Fiesta will be if lucky the third option...
God only knows!

hey girl, if your question is just a stupid irony... first use your brain and only then construct a question!
If you were honest, then your question is not stupid... you are stupid!

The Fiesta Mk7 has been available in most markets for a while now.

The problem with introducing small cars to America is that the American market doesn't particularly like small cars. The Geo Metro, the Chevy Aveo and Toyota's Yaris are unloved in the USA.

Mainly this has to do with gas prices. Americans pay ridiculously cheap prices compared to the rest of the world, and consequently they prefer to spend money on bigger cars. Why buy a Fiesta for $11000 when you can just as easily buy a Focus for $15000?

U.S. car companies have plants all over the world, and some of those plants make cars that are exclusively sold in certain areas only.
