the constitution has endured as the oldest written constitution in modern history history because

a. it is a long document that explains the government in specific detail

b. it has unuasaully large number of articles

c. it can be interpretated in differant ways and can be changed

d. all americans have memorized it

im studing for my test for 2marrow and neeed to know

The answer they want is C because they want you to buy into the idea that the Constitution can mean whatever a judge wants it to mean. However, a 'living' Constitution might as well be blank for all the protection it gives you against the government. That is dangerous thinking.

Nonetheless, the answer for your grade is 'c'.

Mostly because having a constitution was pretty unheard of, and most countries were monarchies.
