Why is the 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 the most stolen vehicle in Texas?

I drive a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 and I am wondering why it is listed as the most popular stolen vehicle in Texas? I assume that it is because they are abundant and probably easy to steal, but I was wondering if it was for any other reason that I was unaware of?
 
I live in Australia and we have a Hyundai which is the "most stolen"/

The reason for that is because it is so easy to start...basically it can be started with small knife or similar. God, even a McDonalds coffee stirrer will start one.

Is your Dodge simple to start without the key?
