why is that when my cell phone is near my laptop, the wireless signal is stopped being..

...received? i see it only happens when my cell phone is near it. i bought my laptop in january and this has never happened b4. why is it starting now. by the way, its a toshiba satellite A305-S6905.
how do i change the frequency
or the router channel i meant to say???
 
Probably because they work on similar radio frequencies.

Change the router wireless channel to a different one and see if it helps.
