Why is Sarah Palin (or her handlers) dodging all press conferences?

She will not answer questions or speak publicly except to read her stump speech. What is she hiding? Doesn't the VP nominee owe it to the voters to explain her positions? Is she too dense to communicate with the press?
 
It is the same reason that Obama hesitates going on certain Fox News shows - no one wants to intentionally swim with the piranhas. Obama avoids interviews that are clearly pro-McCain so why should she answer questions from a media that has consistently shown that they are pro-Obama?
 
The republican strateejury is to avoid discussing issues. They have nothing to run on. No ideas, no record, no trust. The best they can do is sling mud and repeat lies and untruths. Palin is a featherweight ideologue, delusional religious nutjob, and would damage McCain's artificial image if allowed to speak. She is just pandering eye candy for the old f@rt.
 
Finally - a smart move and I am not a Palin suppirted at all.

She is ill-prepared for interviews on a national/international stage. She needs some more prep work before we tire of the same rhetoric....
 
I believe the McCain Camp, wants her to finish getting verse as to what to say, and what not to say. I am sure the Bush Administration, can assist with that, after all they are so good at the lies. Obama/Biden in 08.
 
The more the one sided douche bag liberal media try to dis credit Palin the more I will make sure I make it to the polls to vote for her.

Its a good thing they don't have voting machines in the corner liquor store.
 
She definitely should speak. But, she comes from a relatively obscure political background and isn't so used to having all of this pressure on her shoulders. So, she's being hidden so to speak from the media. I don't think it's necessarily that she's too dense..as much as it is that she's just not ready for it. She's making a huge jump..it could end up blowing up right in the face of McCain.
 
she is bound to trip over her words or say something that will make her look bad. the 3-second clip where Charlie Gibson asked her about the Bush doctrine and she didn't know the answer got replayed about 10 trillion times. she is not that experienced in dealing with the media.
 
Can you imagine what would happen if McCain were elected and then blew a head gasket his first month in office and then kicked the bucket and flew away from this world? It's frightening, isn't it?
