Zisweef (Walk On)

Who was so unoriginal to think of that? Seriously. Why can't it be cooler like Zisweef or something?
Fishaholic, I gave you a thumbs-down. You got pwned back.
Thumbs Down Magnet, I gave you a thumbs up for humor.

Actually our moon's name is Luna (which means moon) we just don't call it that. Just like the sun's name is Sol.

Kels is correct. In English the Moon's name is "Moon". Note the upper case "M".

Until a few hundred years ago it was the only natural satellite of a any planet that was known. Then Galileo discovered that there were satellites of Jupiter. For convenience and not very originally these were called "moons" in English. Note the lower case "m".

Someone said it's name is "Luna". That may be the name in Latin or Italian but it is not the name in English. We speak neither Latin or Italian. The French name is "Lune" and we don't speak French either. Well I read it reasonably well, but I don't speak it.

Well, at the time, "The Moon" was very original, because it had never been used before.

Zisweef is like a name a little kid would come up with.

Pwned.

Because it was the first discovered natural satellite which we called "The Moon."

Since then, we discovered natural satellites on other planets, and we decided to give them names.

But, in the future, you never know.......
