why is oblivion crashing on my macbook via boot camp?

i hav the new macbook pro which is completely capable of running oblivion and i installed xp sp3, and when i started the game, i cud play for like the first 30 min then when i got out into the open world my game started crashing with my screen just blanking out and the mac continues to shut down or just freeze... any ideas as to why this is happening?

because a mac will never be able to do what a pc can boot camp or not.
