Why is Obama afraid to come out in support of the military coup in Honduras?

Granted, they have unseated a democratically elected leftist swine who was about to change the country's Constitution, much the same way Hugo Chavez his good friend and ally.

So what does the bonehead at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. do? He criticizes the army for taking back their country.

I wonder, is Obama afraid the same thing can happen here? Maybe those Honduran generals need to talk to our own Joints Chief of Staff.

Is this the only recourse left for the democratic process, especially when these people come in under one process and then change things around once they're in. Walla, suddenly you have a dictatorship. Could that happen in the US, too ?
Mo, you're right rational people don't act as quickly. Obama must really be full of that rational stuff, because he rarely acts at all until after the fact. He's sure no Billy the Kid.
Not So great. Be careful, you might be putting words and thoughts into the minds of real Americans who know the difference between leadership and lip service !

It is not our job to police the world. There are elected organizations to do this that all of the countries participate in. We as well as other countries can provide support in financial terms or military but w/our economy the way it is, why would we provide relief to Honduras when we need to fix home base? Are they asking us for help? There is quite a difference.

"I call on all political and social actors in Honduras to respect democratic norms, the rule of law and the tenets of the Inter-American Democratic Charter," Obama's statement read.

So you think it's a good thing when the military "takes back the government" from democratically elected leaders?
So basically you're for democracy, just not when you disagree with the results it yields.
I guess you'd support a military coup that unseated Obama, wouldn't ya?

It's obvious Obama only wants to alienate our allies, like the UK and Israel. He won't dare step on the toes of Ahmadinijad or Chavez!
