...for Social Security recipients? Is it true that for the first time in 30 years people receiving Social Security will not be getting a Cost of Living Adjustment? I hear benefits will be frozen for the next two-three years at current levels.

Additionally it is my understanding that the Part B Medicare premium is scheduled to INCREASE by 25 % between now and 2011. The current cost per person per month is about $96. I hear it is going to be above $120 by 2011. Govt run health care ... No tax on the middle class.
 
Federal employees will receive a 2% pay increase for 2010 as announced by Obama. Seniors will not receive an increase, at this time. However, there are rumblings that Congress will take this up in October because 60 million seniors will retaliate in Nov 2010. Personally, I'm willing to forfeit any increase to feed the retaliation.
