We just replaced a Kohler toilet with another Kohler, and when we attached the water tank, discovered it's 3 to 4 inches away from the wall! It isn't flush against the wall like the old one and every other toilet I've seen. It's too late to return it, but now I don't know if it's safe to have a "floating toilet" and don't know if it's even possible to close the gap or hide it. Another obstacle....Arghhhh!
Why is my toilet tank inches away from the wall? Aren't they all a standard size?
