why is my sims 3 neighbourhood only having girl babies?

okay so i just downloaded a whole lot of clothes, furniture, lots & sims from simsresource.com, and deleted everybody in my neighbourhood, to begin a different one. But everytime i get my sim couples pregnant, they're always giving birth to girls. where are the boy babies? i know by giving my sims apples, i enhance their chances of having boys (although i haven't actually tried this out on my new sims yet) but i want all their births to be surprises. if i give them apples or watermelons, i basically know what they're going to have, and it takes the fun out of my sims lol. i'm thinking i may have downloaded a baby object that could be resulting in girl births only. i recall downloading these baby blankets. i downloaded a green one & a red one (instead of the standard pink/blue blankets). but im not sure. I really don't want to delete everything i've downloaded, incase its just ONE object that is glitching up the births. i duno if anyone can really help me, unless you have also downloaded from this website, and got a similar glitch. if so, please leave your comments down below, thankyou xoxo
