Why is my mom dog whining at her puppies?

I have a litter of mini dachshund puppies that are 2 weeks old today (8/10/09). This is my mama dog's first litter, she's 2 years 5 months old. Since yesterday, she walks over to her pups and whines then walks away. She's feeding them every couple of hours and none of the pups looks sick and all are eating. Is there any reason she might have started doing this? I can't tell if she's trying to get my attention by whining by the puppies or something.
