Why is my LG Xenon screen's color faded and super duper light? It's

flickers/flashes a lot too.? Before, it would just flicker from normal to light once in a while. Now, it's pretty much stuck. When it goes back to normal (which isn't so often now) and then I touch the bottom left of the screen or at a certain part of the bottom buttons, it would turn light again. How can I get rid of this problem?!?!
Also, you can see the previous screen thing very lightly in the background of the current one. Like, if you're on lock, you can kinda see the home screen in the background
 
I had an lg vu and i had a similar problem. The screen would get really light, almost white then it would turn black and i couldnt see anything. I took it to at&t and they said the backlight was going out so since i had it less than a year it was under warranty. I got a new one for free, probably a refurb. Hope this helps...
