Why is my LG Voyager screen blacking out?

I have only have my LG Voyager for roughly over a year, and I am already having problems. The inside screen is black all the time, and whenever I open it all I see is the light from the keypad. My front has just started doing it too, recently, and I can't see anything. How can I fix this? And whats wrong?
