why is my LG bliss doing this?

Okay i got it in November and I haven't dropped it, spilt anything on it, or anything but it shuts itself off, gets so hot it turns off, vibrates on its own, wont call people, wont let me download all my pic messages, wont let me hear my voice-mails half the time, and I updated it like they said?!?!?! I don't know whats wrong with it!!!! I have US Cellular so im wondering is there away to trade it in or something?! and does anyone have the number to update it I need it for this month... sorry
