I have an automatic, 1999 Jeep Wrangler. Recently I noticed as I was leaving a store, it started sputtering a little. Hard to describe other than a sputter, or choppy hesitation. My first thought was that maybe I got bad gas. I added a gas additive and went through that tank of gas, and now I have a full tank from another gas station and it's still doing it.
It's not all the time, and it seems to happen after I've out running errands, but when I first start it to leave a store. Once I get speed up and several seconds have passes, it stops and seems fine.
Any ideas?
