I have a 1997 jeep grand cherokee.I just found out today that they have a history of stalling for no reason.Mine started 2 days ago.Brought it to my mechanic and he said it was throttle body filled with carbon and dirty.Cleaned it and it ran fine.Today it stalled again.
Now its at his shop until tomorrow while he tries to find problem.
It stalls when you come to a stop,but starts right up with no problem.Then maybe later on it happens again.
Theres no codes being found when tested.
Does anyone know about this stalling problem and if so,has anyone had success with finding an answer in fixing it?
I was told possible crankshaft position sensor?
