I know you would expect a Business Teacher to be "business-like," but we're in HIGH SCHOOL, for crying out loud.

He ALWAYS dresses in a suit and tie, while our other teachers dress in jeans and T-shirts.

He begins every class by saying, "Good morning/afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. May I have your attention, please?"

He sometimes calls on students who have their hands raised by saying, "Yes, sir/ma'am?" Although that is probably because he doesn't remember our names.

Everything about him is so perfect, you'd think he ran a great big company!

Why Is My High School Business Teacher So "Business-Like"? Perhaps he should be a BUSINESSMAN, rather than a HIGH SCHOOL BUSINESS TEACHER...

no offense but what a dumb question....
teachers are supposed to dress like that..
in jeans??! wth...
well idk thats how its in my school

He is giving you the perfect model of the business person; something valuable when you apply for a job.

This method of teaching is excellent. You won't be surprised when you enter the business community. But most importantly, you will know how to act.
Thank him, not criticize.

I consider the way he dresses as a sign of his respect for his job and his students. Jeans might be okay, but not a t-shirt.
