I just got my first few fish yesterday from "Big Al's". They were all guppies. There are four of them. Two males and two females. I also got my water tested there and they told me that the ph is a little high. So the person suggested getting guppies. One of the male and female are okay. The other male is just swimming around on its own. But my second female is always hiding when it sees me or anybody in my family. I have a twenty gallon tank with a few plants. I'm going to get a few caves for them to hide in. The water temperature is 23 degrees Celsius. I'm almost 100% sure I did not do anything to it. But you can never be too sure. It also does not eat when I feed her. I am thinking it could be stressed or it just adapting to the new environment. The fish either hides behind the filter, heater or between plants. It comes out when nobody is looking. I think it also eats when nobody is looking because earlier today I saw it release its feces.
