I did not drive it enough initially, so the mechanic cleaned out the fuel injection and it ran fine for a while, then it ran rough again and he added some hi octane stuff to the fuel tank. It is back to running rough. I have thought of replacing the gas cap and getting it tuned up. The timing seems way off. I thought the plugs might need replaced, but the mechanic says no.
Why is my engine running rough? Check Engine Light is on. Toyota Tacoma 2001?
