My female cat is recently spayed. Before we spayed her, she would pee on only MY personal items. There are 4 other people in the house, and I share my room with my BF - she hasn't pee'd on ANY of his stuff. Just mine!
My side of the bed, my pillows, my shirt, my coat, my notebooks, my CELL phone, stereo, Headphones, shoes.. and has even pee'd ON ME while I was sleeping!! on the small of my back and once on my NECK!
She always uses her litterbox... EXCEPT when she's peeing on MY stuff!!
I can't take it anymore, Why is she doing this to me?!? I'm always nice to her, nobody else in the house really even pays attention to her. She's MY cat, but WTF is with this behavior?
She's 2 now, and even tho she's spayed.. she's still doing. This morning, I took the back cover of my cell phone off to have pee dribble all down my hand. GRRR!!
What can I do? Because I'm taking her to the shelter first thing in the morning if I get no solutions. I'm reading online as well, but finding nothing useful.. only thing I can find is info on MALE cats marking.. but this is a spayed female?
@ No, she hasn't changed at all in her personality. She's very sweet and purrs a lot, never hisses or claws at me (never has). She hisses at my BF more than anyone, but she only pee's on MY stuff.. Theres no reason for this as far as I can tell.
@ Laurie - been to the vet twice. Once for her spay + shots that were due and checkup. I asked about this. 2nd time they did a blood test, asked about the spraying again and vet offered a medicine to make her "calmer" but that was it.
And her litter pan is automatic.. it cleans itself.
