Why is my cat being aggressive towards me?

This just started today, i woke up this morning to open christmas presents w/ my mom and my boyfriend and i hadn't really seen my cat. after we were done opening up i walked into the kitchen where my cat was, she was totally freaking out when she saw me, her tail was puffy and her ears were back and her eyes were fixated on me. i thot she might be acting like this becuz i had put on a new perfume that my bf bought me, so i forgot about it and took off with my boyfriend to go see family. later in the day when i returned home my cat seemed back to normal, she even let me hold her and pet her. but later in the evening after i had taken a shower, i had walked into to the living room where my mom was holding her and immediately her eyes got BIG and she kept starring at me and she got up and started hissing and growling. i thot maybe it might be the towel wrapped around my head that was freaking her out, so as i took it off she took off running! i have no clue what is wrong with her and its driving me crazy. she usually loves to come and sit next to me and keep warm. what could be wrong?
