Well i have a 99 chevy cavalier with over 100000 miles. Now first off it does not happen all the time. When i accelerate gently there is no issue and i would say about 30% of the time i really accelerate there isn't a problem either. But that other 70% when i really accelerate to just pick up speed going on the highway or whatever, my car just doesn't err it does very slowly and its jerking and is pretty rough i also hear a smacking noise of some sort not metal on metal but something else. Any ideas?
