just bought a 98 chevy blazer this last weekend and the check engine light was on. they said they had just done a tune up on the car and it had been running good. when i test drove it, it was jerking around a little bit. i had the mechanic ride along and he said it should just need some fuel injector cleaner and should be fine. i got home with it and had auto zone check the service engine light. they said it came up with misfire codes. they said it needed spark plugs and wires. we checked the ones that were on there and a couple of them looked old so we replaced all of them. now the car is still having issues and is getting to the point where when we come to a stop it dies. its shaking bad when starting it up and when stopping. the service engine light has started to flash when we are driving. does anyone know what could be wrong?

No offense, but the Chevy Blazer is one of the worst vehicles ever made. If you can get it running, sell it ASAP and get yourself a Honda or Toyota.

Better luck next time.
