So I have a 2007 Lexus RX350 and after my brother got in a minor accident in MY car with a curb the audio is skipping. It skips when its on a CD, when its on the radio, when I have an ipod hooked up. ALL THE TIME. and by skipping i mean coming in and out, so its not even worth it for me to listen to anything. I took it to Lexus they told me it was the amp, however I had my amp sent off to this place in Canada that works specifically on Amps. The guy hooked it up to another car and it worked fine. He even sent another working amp back to hook up to my car.. that amp made the same skipping noises mine did..
does anyone know what the problem could be? I know its hard to diagnose without seeing the car.. but anything will help..
Not looking forward to taking it back to lexus so they can tell me its the amp so they can charge me over 1000 dollars.
