i have a brown knife fish, not the black one, he is trying to bite my blood parrot, and my pleco, he is 8" long, and hides in a pipe during the day, and comes out only for food, he is mroe active at night, but he lieks to nip or bite my blood parrot when it coems out to eat is this normal??, all websites told me the brown knife fish is only agggressive towards its kind, and it shoudnt be mixed even with semi aggressive fishes such as blood parrots because the knife fish can get beat up easily. his tank is a 55 gallon tank, with a gold nugget pleco, blood parrot, 1 severum, 1 angelfish, 1 senegal bichir, and 1 striped peacock eel, that who knows if hes eating or not, he has survived 2 weeks so far with night feedings, well i hope he is eating the worms. theres also 4 danios that i bought for feeding the bichir, but he has ignored them so far.
oh and i also have 7 tiger barbs that are 3" big each, but my knife fish does not seem to bother them, he used to be so peaceful, he would just come out to eat and bother no one, to my surprise it doesnt stalk the barbs, he is one weird ghost knife fish
