why is my 93 toyota truck engine dying?

I drove it for about 12 hours on the freeway at high speeds. Towards the end of the trip I noticed when I put the clutch in the dash lights came on (ebrake, seatbelt, checkengine, battery) like the engine wasnt on. i brushed it off thinking it was just being dumb (sometimes that happens with the ebrake light) i got off the freeway and onto city streets, and this is where the problem began. as i came to a stop i downshifted and pressed on the break and then depressed both the clutch and break a stop light. this is the first time the engine died. it started doing this every time i held the clutch in longer than to shift. next i tried to find out more about the problem. i found out the engine also dies when i put it in neutral. then it started dying soon after i started the engine, and now it wont start at all. it sounds like its trying, though. anyways im really sad about this, so please help. T_T
