i've replaced the ignition coils and spark plugs and this problem still comes back. the ignition coil in cylinder 8 goes bad quite often, i replaced it 3 times. i've replaced all spark plugs as well. the car uses COP's rather than a distributor and plug wires. now the car stumbles and hesitates when i try to accelerate in most gears (car is a manual 5 speed). this problem seems to occur or start up when it rains? please help i really don't think it is a fuel system issue as replacing the coil in cylinder 8 seems to always fix the problem. I think some problem is killing my ignition coils other than the spark plug!
