Manual transmission, the gears aren't slipping. The clutch was replaced a few years ago - maybe 5 years? Car has 196,000 miles on it and I really don't want to spend any more money on it as I am getting ready to buy another Honda.
What happens is this... I'll be driving along on the freeway in 5th gear and it will start rev up a bit and then back off. Or after I drive up a steep hill (I live in San Francisco), it revs up a bit in 2nd or 3rd gear -- almost like it's catching it's breath after climbing the hill! Is it the transmission? The clutch?
