I noticed that my truck was running pretty hot, not to the red but pretty close. When I turned on my heat and fan it started to go down almost to normal, I checked my fluids and realized I had no coolant in the reservoir. I;m guessing this was my problem so I put new oil and new coolant in. I drove off and it was doing the same but never hitting the red. It seems when I use the gas it gets hotter. Maybe it was the fluid problem and I need to let it rest? Thanks for the help.
the heat is working fine, but will blow cold air then eventually hot. The temp goes down when I have my heat running.
