So they can avoid the real stories, like the arrests of ACORN people, and the fact that ACORN has been dropped from the Census, and Van Jones, as well as anything that can be related to Obama.
I swear, if Obama's dog ripped the throat out of someone, they would fail to report it, but Cheney farts in a crowded room, they know about it in England ten seconds later.

Name one single other incident in American history where a President was heckled by a Senator while addressing the congress. It didn't even happen during the Civil War. It's not about Obama -- it's about an unprecedented level of hostility and disrespect to the Office of the President and to our democratic system.
The GOP is so focused, so hell-bent on discrediting the Obama presidency that they've completely forgotten to do their jobs. They've created a climate where it is impossible to have civil, rational debate about health care reform or any other major issue.
Plus - on the specific point that Wilson accused Obama of lying, it's been categorically proven that Obama's statement was truthful. You may not LIKE what he had to say, but it was not any sort of misrepresentation.
And as long as we're on the subject of presidents lying, remember W and the WMD threat in Iraq? The Yellow Cake Uranium? I guess those lies didn't count for some reason.

Either they drag out the story, or they report on how one of Obama's main contributors/cronies is now involved in another major scandal.
