why is Jackson so loyal to D-Fish?

okay, fisher didnt show up in the first round. He got owned by brooks in the second. Today, he shot 1-9 (and at one point he kept going back to the same type of shot he had missed previously, and kept missing) including the last sec miss that couldve tied the game. Lakers got two fine pgs who are quicker, younger and better, yet Jackson not only keeps using the guy, he assigns him to shoot the last three instead of Kobe. What is wrong with Phil? when you guys answer, please convince me otherwise cuz I really couldnt find one myself.
i ve been a lakers fan since 98 and I understand Fish is a veteran and he has made countless clutch shots including that famous .4 one. However, Fish never was good in this playoffs and we are in the conference finals... that is why Im mad. The dude's not improving at all and we are talking about past 13 games!!!! Glad to see lakers fans responding tho.
my last remark i swear. I am talking about the past 13 games my friends. Not just that one shot hes missed tonight.

i know i know.

it looked to me like they COULDN'T get the ball to Kobe because he was being guarded too tightly. we all have seen fish take a game winning shot like that before but lately he just sucks.

i think in the long run, you want Fish shooting that last second, go for the tie shot (if Kobe can't get it) because who else do you have? would you rather trust:
Ariza
Vujicic
Brown
Farmar
Morrison

take that shot in such a high caliber game with little time left?

If you knew the Lakers team of the 3-peat then you'd know that Fisher was the cornerstone point guard for that whole thing. He is clutch and is just aging. Phil wants experience and toughness in these playoffs and Fisher gives that.
