Why is it when I venture into another section, especially sports, I get people

making negative gay comments? Does anyone else get this? I know they haven't read my profile, because the comment doesn't match me. But seriously, does anyone get this, just because of their picture or anything?
Well, if they didn't make comments like, you're pic looks queer, then I wouldn't think they were talking solely about my avatar. Also, if they read what I wrote, they'd see that I'm lesbian, not a gay man. Their comments show how well they read.......
 
I usually don't see much of it. In Religion & Spirituality I occasionally see people on both sides (pro-gay and anti-gay), same with politics. In TVs? Never.
 
i havent gone into another section yet but ill try n tell u if the same happens 2 me, btw i dont think your pic looks "queer"
 
Straight guys really are way hung up on gay guys. It's like an obsession with them. It seems their sense of masculinity is so fragile that the only way they can maintain it is by a constant stream of anti-gay remarks.

As the saying goes, methinks the lady doth protest too much.
 
This is why I always post any question here..
I tried posting a question a couple of days ago in the Family & Relationships section, and I ended up deleting the question from the reactions that I got..
I personally don't know how they find out!!
 
When venture out to the motorcycle sections,i don't get negative comments,its pretty cool over there,all they talk about is bikes,they don't feel the need to discuss other issues.just bikes and their problems
 
No sympathy here. If you are going to 'broadcast' to everyone your sexual orientation, what do you expect? Nobody would know, no matter what category you are in, that you are gay unless YOU tell them. Your avatar pic has nothing to do with it. People can only find out about you on this website by what you WRITE.
 
occasionally in R&S, when I mention it. Never in Adolescent. And those are the only two other sections I go to.

Honestly I get the most negative comments about my sexuality and that here!
