How often have you said or heard another woman say that 'I can't believe he dumped me for her, I'm so much prettier than her!' 'Wow, I'm surprised that his wife is so pretty.' 'I wonder what he sees in her, I look better!', etc.. ? >>Yet in the previous breath women had just claimed how much they loath beauty standards that men place on women- yet they do the same to women themselves!
Is it that women are truly this hypocritical? Or is there any other explanation of how women excuse themselves from doing being so judgmental regarding other women, while accosting men for doing the same?

It always seems that women are playing the defensive, reactive role; almost like children. Like, 'oh yeah, we know that what we're doing is wrong, but it's ok because we're only women'-- and then women turn around and get upset when men don't take them seriously as equals. It's ridiculous.
