'approved' questions from 'select' audience members? Is our system that corrupt that we do not allow for an opposing view or even a possible opposing view to our current administration?
 
All press conferences in recent history have been held that way, though, to be fair, Obama has called on Fox News far more than Bush ever called on Huffington Post or other left-leaning news outlets. http://www.commondreams.org/views05/0401-31.htm
