Why is it that only the Gospel of Matthew discusses zombies?

Matthew 27:
51. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. 52. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. 53. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus' resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.

Yet none of the other evangelists, or any of the historians of the time mention this. Why?
I mean: Zombies. You'd think someone else would have thought this detail worth noting down.

Oh no, you found evidence that the Bible is not consistent! THIS IS TOTALLY NEW INFORMATION. WE MUST ALERT THE PRESS.

Seriously now, the Bible has so many internal contradictions and flat at wrong information that it almost isn't worth mentioning one problem by itself.

Um, I guess maybe the other guys did not find it to be all that interesting? Or maybe they just never heard about that happening, they only interviewed/ or were people who were not by any tombs to see dead people coming to life. Plus I think it is a lot about why the book was written (to show that Jesus is King of the Jews) so this would be fulfillment of some of the old timey predictions the Jews had.

But I agree, I think that is a pretty important detail, left out in the other Gospels. Very good point.
