Honestly, plenty of Christians claim that they know the bible and all that, but when asked if they have read the entire thing they reply no, on the other hand, it appears that a majority of Atheists have become so simply because they HAVE read the entire bible...does anyone find that curious?
Also, why when asked do people get so defensive and comeback with "It's not meant to be read from cover to cover", but then, how can anyone who has not read the entire thing claim that they know what they are talking about?
If you ask me it is a lot like picking up a dictionary, reading a few(or however many) definitions and claiming to be an expert on language.
