why is it that i always either gag or throw up whenever i find a tiny bone in the meat that's in my mouth?

Okay so i was eating tamales this morning when i put meat in my mouth and i bit into a really small bone well i started gagging and almost actually threw up. Just wondering whats up with me. is this normal or am i sick or something. haha
